Daniel Ramos joined Monterrey Security in 2005. As Executive Vice President, Dan oversees all full-time employees, armed and unarmed security, and guest services operations at more than 120 locations across the Midwest.

Responsible for Monterrey’s operations and strategic growth, Dan has earned a national reputation for his leadership in the security industry.
Throughout his 20 years with our company, he has led security operations for some of the nation’s most iconic public facilities and events, while also being instrumental in building systems to strengthen our nationally recognized 24-hour security operations, policies and training.
Among the events where Dan has developed and implemented security plans are the NATO Summit, Lollapalooza, the Chicago Marathon, NFL Draft, Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, Chicago Blackhawks championship rally, as well as the Rolling Stones and Taylor Swift concerts.
Dan also oversees Monterrey’s community partnerships, as well as our contract fulfillment and compliance requirements.
He is a member of ASIS International, the National Center for Spectator Sports Safety and Security (NCS4), the International Association of Venue Managers (IAVM) and the Illinois Security Professionals Association. He earned certification from NCS4 as a Certified Sports Security Professional, as well as a multitude of certifications through the Department of Homeland Security, and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
